Should I start smoking weed? - laws against smoking weed

I've always been against drugs and against the violation of the law, but I'm in a very difficult time right now. I am emotionally numb. I am looking for a serious answer, does that smoking me feel better? I know I would, but I've always been against it, and my question is, should I start now with it, or just stop and try to overcome this difficult phase?
