The U.S. Department of Agriculture tests less than 1 percent of slaughtered cows for the disease to be fatal for people who can eat the contaminated beef. But Arkansas City-based Creekstone Farms Premium Beef wants to test all its cows.

Larger companies feared that move meat, as would have if Creekstone tested its meat and is recruited as security, they perform the expensive test, too .[..]

The Agriculture Department argued that the positive test could result in "false" would that harm the meat industry. U.S. District Judge James Robertson noted that Creekstone tried the same test is used in support of the government and said the government has no power to restrict them.

Why is it that the Conservatives want a company that regulate and restrict themselves are involved in the industry for the health of American citizens?
